We have 3 types of goals outcome, performance, and process goals.
While outcome and performance goals are key, it’s the process that truly drives success.
The process is about creating a clear, actionable plan for how you show up each day—how you speak to yourself, how you fuel your body, the standards you hold yourself to, and the daily habits you develop.
To achieve your goals, the language you use with yourself matters. It’s not enough to say “I feel” or “I think.” These statements are vague and often subjective. Instead, you need to focus on specific, measurable actions. Success isn’t determined by how you "feel" on any given day. It’s about meeting the clear, measurable metrics that support your performance and outcome goals.
When assessing your progress, ask yourself: "How can I use my physical and mental resources to bring out the best in me?" Focus on the process—the day-to-day actions, mindset, and routines that will ultimately get you to your desired outcomes.
Remember: The magic lies in the process.
It’s in the consistent effort you put in each day. If you stay focused on the right actions, the results will follow.
